If you missed Fleur Sexton on BBC Midlands News here it is again!
Fleur talks briefly about Levelling Up and the need for real social justice. Levelling up truly means ‘giving everyone the opportunity to flourish’ and with the support and funding from West Midlands Combined Authority who understand local needs and priorities people like Kevin and Briony can fulfil their potential.
Kevin has now secured a full-time position as a kitchen porter at PET-Xi’s ground-breaking Metropolis Restaurant, which provides a life-affirming opportunity for unqualified young people not in education, employment, or training to gain qualifications, experience and turn their lives around.
Briony has also stepped into employment securing a job in recruitment at PET-Xi Training head office after completing one of PET-Xi’s STEP INTO Employment programmes.
The courses Kevin and Briony both took part in were funded via the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA).
